Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Km to mph (“we”, “us”, “our”), available at kmtomph.com (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1) What this Service is
The Service is a speed unit converter that lets you enter a value, select units, and instantly convert between kilometers per hour (km/h) and miles per hour (mph), including a Swap Units option and a Clear control.
The Service is provided for general informational and convenience purposes. It is not professional engineering advice, vehicle calibration, or road-safety guidance. Always follow posted speed limits and use your vehicle’s instruments as the primary reference while driving.
2) How conversions work
The calculator uses standard conversion factors (shown on the page), including: 1 km/h = 0.6213711922 mph and 1 mph = 1.609344 km/h. Displayed results may be rounded for readability depending on formatting.
3) Your responsibilities
- Use the Service lawfully and responsibly.
- Verify results before using them in safety-critical contexts (e.g., driving decisions).
- Ensure you’re converting the intended unit (km/h vs mph)—especially after using “Swap Units.”
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
4) Intellectual property
The Service’s UI, text, code, and presentation are protected by copyright and other laws. You may share links to the Service, but you may not copy or redistribute substantial parts without permission, except as allowed by applicable law.
5) No warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the results will be suitable for your particular purpose.
6) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any losses arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including issues caused by reliance on conversion outputs.
7) Third-party services
We may use third-party providers for hosting, security, analytics, or performance. We may also link to third-party sites. Third parties have their own policies and practices, and we are not responsible for their content or services.
8) Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify, improve, or discontinue any part of the Service (including the converter, tables, content, or supported languages) at any time. We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
9) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of laws. Venue and jurisdiction will be in courts located in Pakistan, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
